Academics & Student Life

At Kairos Academy, spiritual and academic growth go hand-in-hand. Every teacher, every subject, is focused on the same mission: raising the next generation to be disciples of Christ.

Elementary School

In elementary grades, each day begins in God’s word with a Bible class. Students study math, phonics, language arts, and reading daily in small ability-based groups to truly meet students where they are. In the afternoons, history and science is taught with a Biblical worldview and hands-on projects. Once a month, we go on fun field trips to get out of the classroom and expand our horizons.

Our classrooms are small and personalized and each elementary classroom has a lead and assistant teacher to give each student constant support and guidance. Elementary learners remain with their class all day, forming strong bonds and routines. Students also enjoy PE and can participate in sports programs after school.  We strongly value family time, so homework is kept to a minimum.

Middle School

Middle school students at Kairos start each day in God’s word with a daily Bible study focused on developing their own personal relationship with God. Math is taught in small groups according to the students ability level. In English, students focus on writing different types of papers and develop more critical thinking skills through reading. In the afternoons, we teach history and science through a Biblical worldview and hands-on projects.

At the middle school level, students remain with the same teacher and classmates throughout the day, creating a consistent, community-oriented environment. Middle schoolers begin exploring electives such as worship band, PE, and after school sports. Homework remains minimal, reflecting our belief that time at home should be preserved for family life.

High School

High school students at Kairos start each day in God’s word with a daily Bible study focused on apologetics and really digging deep into what they believe. Every day, students learn math at their specific level, integrated English (literature and writing), science, history, and a rotating elective — such as economics, public speaking, debate, or government. All classes are taught through a Biblical worldview. We offer dual enrollment through SEU, so students who choose to can graduate high school with college credit or even an associate degree.

Small, personalized classes allow teachers to adjust instruction to student needs while fostering meaningful discussions and growth. Students also have the opportunity to participate in worship band, athletics, and even serve in ministry roles within our school and church community. High school students can earn Bright Futures hours by volunteering in our Friday program, which focuses less on academics and more on service, leadership, and enrichment.
